Michelle Babb, Director of Pharmacy, said Lloyd is a wealth of knowledge and expertise. “He goes above and beyond to ensure every patient is treated with the utmost care.”
As Director of Case Management, Terre Bryan, RN, MSN, and her team are essential to patient care from admission to leaving the hospital. As a previous nursing professor for more than 20 years, Terre is a natural born teacher and uses this talent to help everyone involved understand the importance of case management and its function as a clinical resource and advocating for patients. Since assuming the role as Director of Case Management, Terre has worked extremely hard to focus on teamwork and trust, as well as diligently working on behalf of patients at Merit Health Natchez. Colleagues and directors have used the words “…engaging, epitome of a well-rounded director, trouble shoots issues in a calm manner, teacher, positive attitude, and mountain mover” to describe Terre. Amelia Conner, Chief Financial Officer and senior leader for Case Management, said Terre is a joy to work with and some of the changes and improvements she has made to the department have had outstanding results for our hospital and our patients. Added Amelia, “Members of our medical staff value her opinion and experience, and she is truly an asset to Merit Health Natchez.”
Buffy Bolyer, RT and Manager of Respiratory Therapy, always strives to meet the needs of her staff, whether it’s filling in the gaps or assisting with daily procedures. Buffy is truly a hands on working manager, and employees know they can count on her at all times. Buffy’s leadership from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has been outstanding. She has worked many hours alongside her team and is a shining light working each day to provide safe, quality and compassionate patient care. Colleagues and other managers and directors describe Buffy as quiet, competent, compassionate and always puts the patient first. “Buffy and I started our respiratory therapy careers as shift partners, and I can truly attest to the person she is,” said Angela Yates, Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. “Buffy is a team player and whatever task she is given, it will be done on time and to the best of her ability. I am so proud of her and am blessed to have her leadership in the Respiratory Therapy Department.”
